Most people are never introduced to venture capital, angel investing, or the networks where investment opportunities are shared.
That means too many people never realize they can invest, build careers in investing, or help shape what gets funded.
HBCUvc changes that.
We help more people understand how venture capital and angel investing work, discover opportunities to participate, and join a growing community committed to backing the people and ideas that matter most to our communities.
Why HBCU Alumni
The HBCU alumni network is one of the largest and most influential networks of Black professionals in the world. For generations, HBCUs have served as engines of leadership, talent, and economic mobility with Black communities.
Built on shared history, trust, and purpose, we believe this same community has the potential to become one of the most influential networks of investors, capital allocators, and champions of innovation.
That’s why we focus on mobilizing HBCU alumni to learn about venture capital, angel investing and careers in investing, creating more opportunities for our communities to back the people and ideas they believe in.
While our work begins with HBCU communities, our mission is open to anyone who believes stronger communities are built when more people have a voice in where capital goes and what gets funded.
