Venture Partners

The VC Lab and Fund is managed by second-year fellows in our HBCU Venture Fellows Program. They support sourcing and matching selected entrepreneurs to available resources and opportunities. Fellows gain on-hands experience in venture capital through deal origination, due diligence, and portfolio support.

The pilot cohort of the Venture Lab and Fund was launched in March 2020 by Whitney Griffith, Ime Essien, Dorian Holmes and Bryanna Barnett and supported four tech companies with HBCU founders (students and alumni).
