Internships in Venture Capital
In 2019, HBCUvc partnered with the Annenberg Foundation and PledgeLA to launch the first-ever citywide venture capital internship in Los Angeles. We shared a common vision: increasing equity and access to opportunities in VC.
This year, we're joining forces with 50 South Capital in Chicago and Concrete Rose Foundation in San Francisco to create a unique opportunity to apply to 30 plus venture capital firms across multiple regions.
This internship program is cohort-based to facilitate the building of valuable connections amongst peers. We offer four remote cohorts:
LOS ANGELES - For university students (all universities eligible) and recent graduates interested in venture capital with a strong connection to the Los Angeles ecosystem and interest in venture capital. More information on the PledgeLA cohort can be found here.
CHICAGO - For university students (all universities eligible) and recent graduates with a strong connection to the Chicago ecosystem and interest in venture capital.
SAN FRANCISCO - For university students (all universities eligible) and recent graduates with a strong connection to the San Francisco ecosystem and interest in venture capital.
HBCU - For HBCU students and recent graduates interested in venture capital. (Select this option only if you are an HBCU student and do not have a connection to any of the above cities).
